There are also self-paced, competency based programs at Northern Arizona University, Bellevue, Capella, and University of Wisconsin. NAU's tuition is competitive.
And the point is that these options are Regionally Accredited without any smoke and mirrors to get you into an RA program. I would not spend my time and money pursuing a Nationally Accredited degree. Just too many potentially negative variables to make it attractive when there are so many bonafide RA programs that are both flexible and low cost with the RA designation....but I support anyone's right to pursue the degree program they think will work for them. I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I just put this super easy plan together for a close friend. Wanted to post it here as well so you could get an idea of the cost and ease of this degree plan. The CLEP and DSST exams are not difficult at all. You can do all your study while traveling. Whenever you get home, or in some cases while traveling, locate a testing center and sit the exams.

Most community colleges/universities have designated evening and Saturday morning hours available. The TECEPs that are paper vers (eng comp/tech writing?) can be taken at your local library (usually cheap proctoring fees) or your testing center. The majority of TECEP exams are now available online through the proctoru service. SL courses are also taken online through proctoru.

FYI, the TECEP registration period is for an actual semester. The exam(s) are mailed to your designated proctor and you have a 12wk window to take the exam. There is even a 2mo extension available if needed.

If you would prefer a GPA, substitute TECEP Technical Writing with SOS-110 Living in the Information Age for 3 fast Gen Ed credits. Midterm (WA#4) and final (WA #7) are brief papers. The course was created with the adult student returning to the classroom in mind. Fun, relevant writing topics and the skills tutor assignments were a great brush up of basic skills. Syllabus.
