Has anyone else run into serious bugs with ALEKS?
I'm going through trigonometry and for some reason it wants me to re-do function composition. So I answer the questions, and suddenly the system starts changing the questions on me after I've answered them and then tells me I'm wrong!
See the image link to see an example of what I mean. The sequence goes like this:
Annotated Image Example
This has happened twice in a row now. The first time it changed both equations (it went from s(t(x)) to u(w(x))), and the second time (shown in the image above) it changed one equation and changed the parameters from 1 to 2!
I've sent two messages off to ALEKS support with images. I'm just curious if anyone else has run into this kind of behavior? I recall someone ranting here in the past (taking pre-cal I believe) that he would have trouble with a problem, click "Explain", and instead be given an explanation for a completely different problem.
Platform: Win 7 Pro, Java 1.6u24, browser is Pale Moon 6 (Firefox optimized for Windows).
Incidentally, this is a brand-new (less than a week old) install of Windows, has almost nothing on it, clean as a whistle.
This really bothers me. College Algebra was rock solid on the same configuration.
Thanks.

- The system presents me with problem A
- I answer problem A
- I click "Next"
- The system tells me I'm wrong, because I didn't answer problem B
