attending graduation!
#1
I just got back from my graduation, and I want to encourage you to try and attend if at all possible. It's so nice to meet fellow students and teachers, plus you get to wear a cool hat. Smile This is my support crew: hubby and sons!

Beautiful family. You guys look awesome!!

I wanted to attend mine but there wasn't enough money to go with the entire family. Hopefully I'll make it to the Masters.

I think they are a good mix of both except for the one on the left. He's all mom.

I want to attend graduation but I wonder if I'll make the effort since my graduation ceremony will be 9 months after the degree is conferred. I may just wait for the Master's degree as well.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

That was the case with us too. My BA at TESC happened...but life was happening...and it just wasn't in the budget. For this one, I actually got a little part time job about 6 months ago and stock piled 100% of that cash for this trip specifically. It was only 2 days (plus 2 days of driving) and lots of PBJ but we managed a nice mini-vacation none the less. I suggest it! My oldest found it pretty motivational.

Cookdersoa, your family must be so proud of you. Add us to your son's group of inspirees (is there such a word?). Now, I can figure out a general, a private, and a sergeant, but I can't figure out what all of the "stuff" on you means. I didn't bother going to my high-school graduation, so feel free to talk to me as if I were the village idiot. (Probably should change that "were" to "was," but hope springs eternal.)

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Jennifer, is your oldest thinking about distance learning?
