So I am in need of a few classes and have decided I would give Shmoop a try. Was just wondering if anyone had suggestions? Anything I need to know ahead of time or any I need to avoid? That type of tips
Algebra I
Introduction to film studies
history of technology
human sexuality
psychology
U.S. History (either of them, maybe both)
introduction to biology
introduction to physics
the bible as literature
Any other classes that happen to be fairly simple and quick? I'm always up for learning something easy.

I have completed History of Technology and Human Sexuality. I started Intro. to Bio and then switched to Straighterline. I would definitely do History of Technology first because it was easy. Human Sexuality is also recommended. It was not too difficult. Cost/Benefit caused me to switch on the biology class. Straighterline is more search and less study. Schmoop Biology is more study and less search. The higher price was worth the reduced time for me.

"learning" isnt the term I'd use for shmoop material.
1. Prep Phase: Hopeless, 15 credits, need a BA fast, never heard of TESU
2. TESU BALS: 121/120 (9 months)
3. RN Paramedic Bridge - Excelsior (9 months + CPNE wait)
4. WGU RN -> BSN
5. BSN -> MSN/FNP

Keep in mind in order to get credit for Algebra with Shmoop you need to complete both I & II to get the 3 credits. You do not get credit if you only complete the Algebra I. I took US History 1877-Present with Shmoop and I barely got through it. I never worked so hard for a 70% for a pass, which is exactly what I ended up with.

I found the film class easy, I found some practice test at coursehero and watched the movies.

Although the practice tests don't have answers it will clue you into what type of questions will be asked.

Bible as Lit is not too bad. It's similar to the history one I did which was History I.

I would add that it could be confusing if you don't have a Christian background. I looked at it (DH is taking it) and it seems like it could be fairly easy for someone coming with a pretty heavy Sunday School background. Otherwise, it would be near impossible.... at least from what I can see of Shmoop. I'm an observer, but the tests seem pretty tough and seem to have a lot of uncovered content. DH says there's a lot of stuff that relates to the chapters, but that isn't specifically covered. I wonder if this is normally the case...
