I'm nearly done with all the credits I need for the pierpont BOG AAS. I need an associates for my job, so I'm doing that first regardless.
My original plan was to do the pierpont to umpi, which I'm still on track to do, but I just found out I am eligible to sign up for an free accelerated Bachelors program locally. The thing is, they'll accept transfers with an associates, but have a less generous credit policy for ACE credits.
If I get my associates through pierpont, will my transcript show that I took Pierpont classes, or will it show up as clep/Sophia classes?

Your transcript will only show what classes you actually completed at Pierpont. Everything you transfer in will say it's transfer credit.

Gotcha. So probably wouldn't work for me then - I'll stick with umpi!

I'd give it a shot anyway. Especially if your only out-of-pocket expense is the $5 or so to send the Pierpont transcript. There is a tiny chance that they'll accept ACE credit if it's been used in a degree. Probably not, but worth trying, IMO.

Yeah, alternative credit we recommend will always show as transfer credit when you send transcripts to any institution.

Oh, forgot to ask, you may want to provide us the name of the institution and the degree you want to ladder up to. The reason is there may be "block" transfer of an entire Associates, be it an AA, AAS, or AS. Generally it's the AA/AS that have block transfers, but I've seen AAS get transferred as well, depending on the institution and the degree program for the Bachelors.

Yes, you need to see if they will do a block transfer of the AAS - if so, then they don't look course-by-course, but take it as a whole. That would certainly be nice - it's uncommon, but those unicorns are still out there.

I believe I have completed all my credits for Pierpont BOG AAS with an AOE in Communications. I'd like to do a BAS at UMPI in Business Management & Leadership or Business Project Management, eventually moving on to an MAOL.
I just have a couple quick questions I'd love some guidance on -
- Will pierpont accept my comm internship credits?
- Will pierpont/umpi accept my D+ credits?
- Which Major from UMPI do you think is more valuable and/or easier to complete?
- Which classes should I take next to transition to UMPI? (I am planning on do the google UX course, because it will be helpful to me)
- Has anyone done the portfolio option through umpi? I have a very extensive resume, so it might be worth the cost.
My credits are listed below, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

1. Possibly, but not sure. As long as it's in the transferable credits section, they'll probably take them. If you need more Comms credits, Saylor Corporate Communication and/or Principles of Human Communication could work. I'd apply and send in your RA credits ASAP to see what they say.
2. I don't think so. C- is the lowest grade they'll accept, IIRC.
3. Project Management is highly sought after these days. I'd probably do that, if you're already interested in it.
4. If you do Project Management, I'd do the Google Project Management cert. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Coursera
5. Don't do this. Really, don't do this. The papers/projects that you do for the classes are going to be shorter than the portfolio requirements for each class. It's probably worth it for the brick & mortar students, not worth it at all for YourPace students.

Got it - avoid the portfolio! Hopefully the internship transfers - I'm feel lazy after burning through a bunch of classes.
