Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! I will be taking Umpi's math for business class. Does anyone know if I should prepare myself to do any difficult math? I am a little rusty at math and am wondering if I should review algebra and formulas. Thanks!

You shouldn't worry and go at a comfy pace, focus... I believe this is an easier math class than most, if you have completed a couple of the math classes at Sophia.org or Study.com, you should be fine, just go get the credit like you did with your Sophia.org and other classes...

Everything you need for this class is available on Brightspace. It's not algebra so there's very few formulas and you'll learn what you need in the course. it is one of the easiest math courses for non-math fans.

As a C on math on my previous college, I got an A- on MAT 140. I use tutor dot com tutoring for all the math problems. I hope it helps. Thanks.

I'm fairly certain that Sophia's Pre-Calc or Calculus 1 course can cover for MAT 140

Calculus from Sophia transfers for an alternative to MAT140 for BABA students only. However, most people will find Calculus to be much more difficult than MAT140. There's far more algebra and formulas in calc than business math. I haven't seen anyone who isn't math happy be happy about taking calc.

Mat 140 is very easy compared to most math courses.
You need only very basic high school algebra skills to solve the problems.

Sorry I haven't ask for UMPI or the Professor for any class materials' help. I think I should do that. Thanks.
