Looking at an old transcript for a friend, he has a C- in English Comp. Will TESC accept this? They say you have to have a C, I'm wondering if they're flexible on this policy.

My most miserable college class I took was was 15 years ago. It came back to haunt me again because I got a C- and TESC did not accept it as credit for the english requirement. Luckily I remembered I took the AP test and got credit for both with it.

Yes, it must be a C or above. I would think with your experience the CLEP or Straighterline course would be super easy for replacement credit.

No, they will accept C- & D grades but I believe the rule is that those can't be in your field of study. So they could be on other general studies requirements or electives. English seems to be an exception to the rule, probably because they want the students to be decent writers.

I just took the English Comp II TECEP and am now waiting for my score...frustrating...
