Love Axios being described as leftist. Only in America.
Axios is majority-owned by Cox Enterprises, a family-owned company headquartered in Atlanta

Eric Adams is a Democrat.
Cardi B said in the video she was worried about her family, who isn't rich like her and have to put up with the decay of New York.
Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC all of them are legacy media that nobody watches anymore. They are becoming obsolete.
Ground News, AllSides, and Media Bias/Fact Check, have all rated Axios as having a "lean left" bias.

Being a Democrat does not make you progressive (cue Senator Manchin). Adams is very conservative & frankly was a bad selection for mayor. So was Diblasio.
I wish the media channels would die off. They might outlive us all. While no one may watch them live, they produce so much content that is then recycled in short form media.
I’ll hold on anything further because we are not getting anywhere.

I really enjoy this armchair analysis if a city from people who dont live there, repeating information from other people who dont live there about why it is so bad to live there.
The media does this every few years about California. It has only decreased during covid, but has since continued to trend upwards since then. Most people left because it was cheaper to live elsewhere. Simple as that. It is not a hell hole as the media makes it out to be.

You're making an Appeal to Authority in an attempt to dismiss the argument.

You are the one that suggested that only those who live in New York City are qualified to comment on its conditions or issues.
That is your Appeal to Authority.
And FYI, bluebooger is from that area.

I am saying that an armchair analysis isnt useful while using the anecdote that I hear the media say this about California every year and I am from California. Since neither you or I are in New York, it is hard for us to judge conditions there.

Newsflash: People will have reasons compelling to them to move in to and out of New York, and any city and locality. When Lucy and Ricky moved from their Manhattan apartment to suburban Westport, Connecticut in 1956 no one tried to blame this on the woke President Eisenhower or New York City Mayor Robert Wagner Jr.
