Which is easier...please advise.
#1
Hello everyone.

I need 9 credits for the General Education Electives Requirement and I'm trying to decide which exams to take to complete this portion of my degree plan. Which 3 of the following would you suggest that I take?

* CLEP U.S. History I
* CLEP U.S. History II
* CLEP American Government
* CLEP Human Growth and Development
* CLEP Introduction to Educational Psychology

***Side Note*** I have already taken the Social Sciences & History CLEP & the Introductory Sociology CLEP. I am scheduled to take the Introductory Psychology CLEP next Tuesday.

Also...to meet the Humanities requirement I need 12 credits for my AA. Which plan do you think is better (easier)?

- CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature (6)
- CLEP American Literature (6)

or
- CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature (6)
- DSST Ethics In America (3)
- DSST Introduction to World Religions (3

***Side Note*** I just wanted to make sure that the A & I Lit didn't duplicate the American Lit CLEP. Second, based on which is the easier route, I wanted your feedback as to which plan of attack I should choose. Third, I have no knack for Literature really and have no background in the subject either.

Thanks in advance for your help. You can see the exams I've taken thus far in my signature.

Peace be with you all.

[COLOR="Navy"]Do you need 9 or 12???

If 9, but 12 will do, go for the 12 - they're easy!

CLEP Analyzing & Interpreting Literature (6)
CLEP American Literature (6)

Amen to that. Same goes for Educational Psychology. Prep for all three at the same time. Lots of overlap.

I found A & I Literature to be the easiest six credits I ever got. If you can read a passage of literature (prose, poetry, etc.) and understand what is being said ("A rose by any other name would smell as sweet") you can pass this test. You don't need to know specific works of literature.

I agree the A & I is the easiest and the infor on this site elsewhere is how I passed the test. and the Clep book for the test. 6 credits with literary devices and terms and take the test. But do make sure you study a bit don't go in cold. did you say general electives take FEMA classes for free to fill this slot.

Thanks for responding to my post.

No...the FEMA credits I have will all count under Free Electives not General Ed.

Thanx again.

I would recommend you take a test that you have a decent background or have some knowledge in, that way you will have minimal study or prep to do.

I'd go with A&I Lit, Ethics, and World Religions for your Humanities.
