Thank you, Good Yellow Dogs. You will feel so proud and relieved when you reach this point too!
Am watching the telecast now. Real pomp and circumstance. Grateful for having finished. Just moved my imaginary tassle from right to left! Hope to attend my graduation from graduate school in a few years!
Congrats everyone!!!!

Me and my Excelsior degree. Yeah! Did anyone else cry during the webcast? I did! My boyfriend flipped my hair from one side to the other when we were told to flip our tassels. I was going to wear a cap and gown but chickened out.

Hi April,
You look so happy with your diploma. Good for you!
Did I miss something -- I thought they were going to read all of our names during the ceremony. I didn't know that we had to be there in person to have our name read...

April congratulations on a job well done! What's in your future now?
I can't help but noticing the Colombian flag behind you. Are you from Colombia?

That was great! I did not get to participate in all of the activities or talk with as many people as I had hoped, but the events I did get to attend were all a wonderful experience. With many happy memories, I am already looking forward to the next one!
If you do get to go to a future graduation ceremony, I would suggest doing as many (if not all) of the activities as you possibly can. I got the feeling that previous graduates are invited to attend a future ceremony, if they have not attended one already.
Anastasia - I also thought they might say the names of all of the graduates, but with 6000(!) graduates, that would have easily doubled the time of the ceremony to over 5 hours. They already had 5 events planned in 12 hours that day. When graduating classes get so large at other colleges, they have to cut back on the ceremony (like walking across the stage).
April - Great pictures! I'm glad to see you got to celebrate.

I'm so proud of all of us! We set a goal (dream) and we met the challenge head on. I wish I could have been there. I really wanted to go since I didn't go last year when I got my AS degree. Maybe next year. Since I will finish my second BS with EC next month, fingers crossed, I still may get a chance. It would certainly be a nice cherry on top of the hard work sundae! Congrats to us all! Celebrate in your own way!
