I've been lurking here for a while and your general advice has been great. I've already taken clep sociology, psychology, educational psy., and human growth and development. Now I need some upper credits in psychology and my advisor recommended the excelsior exams. I would like to know what you guys recommend. 1) in which order regarding overlap 2) easiest to hardest.
Thank you for your help

I have taken several ECE's with some being in the Psych area. I'm not sure any are easier than others since they test on different material. Just make sure they don't duplicate what you have already done. For me research methods in psych was the hardest because I'm not a research minded person. I like medical research, but psych and sociology research just doesn't cut it for me, but a lot of the concepts were covered in my other psych exams either DSST or ECE's. I highly recommend you pay for the practice exams for any tests you take, as they are well worth it. For these exams a lot of the scenarios used on the practice tests are the same as the actual exam, so you can save time reading during the actual exam and you have a chance to already understand the scenario and think about the various outcomes etc. It is well worth the $25 for the practice exams!! Good luck!
