I need one class worth 3credits to graduate. Please tell me which would you choose to do quickly. Ethics in America, Anthropology, American Government, or college algebra? I want to test next week...All opinions welcome! Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the forum.
You don't give us a lot to go on. None of the four options in your list has a rep for being 'easy'. The best one to take with only a week to prepare is the one you already know. Like: if you took beginning algebra anytime recently and still remember it, you
might get ready for College Algebra in a week. If you are starting from ground zero, then the one to choose is what's most
similar to subjects you know. Having taken Ethics in America, I would cross it off the list unless you have already taken a basic philosophy class or have a knack for similar subjects (maybe through religious education or the like). Several posters IIRC have remarked that Am Government is pretty challenging. Having taken Anthropology as a class, that might be doable in a week, as it's all book knowledge. If you haven't already, look at the exam
fact sheets and see which looks like it crosses over with what you know.

Every person is different. I passed the American Government exam easily without studying one second, but when I took a look at the Ethics in America fact sheet I decided it would require more study than I could afford time-wise at that juncture.

Thanks to all that responded. I am an Excelsior nursing student. I have taken and passed all my requirements to graduate except a three credit elective. I wanted something I could take fairly easily. However, it has to be a science, humanities, history, or math related, and I have already taken sociology, psychology, art in Western in Civ, World Religion, Human Growth, Eng Comp. Thanks.

Would the DSST Business Ethics work for you ? I think it would be easier then Ethics in America.
The DSST Fundamentals of Counseling or UExcel Political Science exam might work also.
If you are good in math, consider taking one of ALEKS courses that Excelsior accepts. If math is a strength area you could be done in less then a week. Some people reach 70% on their first assessment.

Congratulations on being so close to finishing! Have you considered Analyzing & Interpreting Literature CLEP? It is basically a reading comprehension exam. It is worth 6 credits in humanities.
