The catch is, you have to be a member in grades 9-12, the initial course remains $425, it's subsequent classes that are $299 each.

Great to see more colleges offer this! Doesn't Penn Foster and SUNY offer something similar for students?

For homeschoolers or high schoolers, this is an awesome resource to get $100/off per class, that's $1K for 10 classes or so... Other resources are available for even cheaper, such as dual enrollment, CLEP/MS during their time in high school, even the AP/IB or independent studies...

The HS4CC and ASU pathway is a solid option for homeschool families who want legitimate college credit on the transcript before graduation. The $299 per subsequent course makes it genuinely competitive especially when you factor in that these are regionally accredited credits from ASU directly. Worth noting for anyone comparing options CLEP and DSST exams still offer the lowest cost per credit hour overall, and many homeschool students combine both approaches. Use CLEP for general education credits and save dual enrollment or programs like this for courses that need a more traditional classroom experience on the transcript.
The key question for each family is always how their target colleges treat transfer credits. Some schools cap dual enrollment transfers so worth checking that before committing to a full sequence here.

Great option, but do check with your state. Florida provides dual enrollment for free, and I would be shocked if homeschoolers are excluded. My daughter will graduate high school (public) with an AA from our local state college.
