I am sure someone has taken one or more of these classes. Just trying to figure which one would be easier to pass.

Over the next two weeks I am scheduled to take Aging, Gerontology, Research and Abnormal. I looked on the threads that stated which ones passed with over a 60 using IC only and the only one not on there was Gerontology of the 4 I am taking. I don't recall seeing either Social or Labor on the use IC only who was able to get a 60 or above.

I am studying for Reasearch Psy and Social Psy, and I guess I will find out in few weeks which one is easier, but trusted people on this forum say both are doable with IC only. Just study hard

I don't think any ECE exams are easy, I took them lightly and ended up getting C's

ECE's are not as easy as Cleps or Dantes.....that said...with the proper study they are doable. I passed ALL of ECE's Psych courses that IC had study cards for with just IC, and some free practice tests I found on-line. The key is to know ALL of the information in the IC cards 100% of the time. You can not study for an hour or two a couple of times and expect to pass. Be ready for a loooong test...a couple of which were a 160 questions long,,,,the average was 140. I say this not to discourage...in fact...quite the opposite. Prepare well, know the cards, get some sleep, and test well. The process is not rocket science yet we have a habit of fooling ourselves into believing we can not do it.
YOU CAN.
Another tip...don't even look at the silly pass rates...Those that tested before you are not you and the majority of them will not have studied as hard as you either.
I passed these tests and and I'm not a brainiac. You can do it too! Lee

I agree with Basket. These exams require more study and you need to take them seriously. I recently received a "B" in the ECE Organizational Behavior. There were 130 questions, and it took me 1.5 hours to finish the exam. The mistake I made was taking the exam after work, which was 5 p.m. Study hard, and take the exam on a weekend or before work when your energy level is high. You need to know instacert material and you should use some outside references as well if you hope to receive an "A."
