Which BSBA faster/cheaper - TESU vs Liberty
#11
You're pretty much at the final year of studies 90 of 120 or so credits... It's great you're making that decision on degree and school of choice. Depending on your commitments and situation, if you know a language or wanting to take a lab science, you may want to add UMPI to the mix. If you complete their degree in two sessions, it can be just $2800 for UMPI!

Edit to add: For cost, ease, speed UMPI is my vote. If you need ACBSP then Liberty or TESU. It is of your best interest to copy/past the last post addendum to provide us more details on your scenario. This will help us greatly with knowing which degree will be suited for you most: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works

Everybody has their considerations, but I don't "need" a degree. I'd just like one.

Every single degree on the planet has courses that people don't find interesting or relevant. That's just part of college.

I'm quite old enough to grasp this concept in life, but it's not the spirit of what I said.

Choosing from a very limited and ill-fitting selection of quick/ez options just to earn enough credit "in time" is not my mission. Within reason, I'd prefer to take relevant courses, enough if it takes longer.

I would have hated to need to do a full-length course on basic Psychology or Sociology. Thank goodness for being able to get things over and done with quickly!

I had to take a course in literature back in the day. Boring as heck! The weeks about poetry were like pure torture. I had friends who thought it was the greatest class ever and wished the whole course was poetry. I probably would have stepped into rush hour traffic if I had to spend 15 weeks on a poetry class. Waterboarding would be less cruel. LOL Sophia's ethics class was not my friend!

Yes US educaton especially. At least in the UK courses are subject specific and we don't have to do gen eds.

Which course is that? For 2021/2022 I recall they updated the requirements to include BUS 210 Quantitative Skills for Business

Here's the catalog for 2022/2023, I don't see any changes: https://tesu.smartcatalogiq.com/Current/...nistration

I see it when you go to the “whAt if” tool.
I’m sorry not on the aos but the professional requirements.

Never mind Bj. I figured it out. It looks like they moved my cis 107 to natural science requirement leaving a computers requirement open. Idk y they did that.

Just email them and ask them to move that course to your core.  They'll do it w/o any fuss.

That's a laudable goal. At the same time, the title of this thread is "Which BSBA faster/cheaper - TESU vs Liberty" which would tend to imply that completing your degree is the highest priority, and that's also a laudable goal. However, if you're not willing to choose the faster/cheaper option at TESU, then my understanding is that TESU will be about $6,700 at a minimum, plus the cost of whatever outside courses remain, so $7,500 at Liberty is not far off, assuming 90 credits transfer toward the degree. I would recommend that you apply to both and get your transcripts evaluated so you can see how close you actually are to completing each degree.

I see what they’ve done. They moved my data structures from natural sciences down to electives.  Which in turn moved an elective to “anticipated earned “
Then moved my cis 107 from the computers requirement up to fill the natural sciences req. leaving the computers req open.

So this in turn adds a requirement for me.

I wouldn't worry about moving stuff around. That seems pointless.

You should have a spreadsheet where you know what your requirements are, do those courses and everything should work itself out.
