Hello I was informed that you guys are more experienced and could help me plan graduating faster(preferably 12 months). I have basic knowledge , I understand I need to find a highly accredited CBE according to my degree/pursuing career, find their requirements and test out, find one that offers pay per term to keep costs low and find scholarships and government grants to pay for everything minus the taxes.
How did I do? Would you guys be able to help me be more specific for my degree? I'll put the info Below
Pursuing Finance Bachelors degree, then Masters in Financial Engineering to get hired as a quant trader.
Completed 1.5 years at Texas State University (Finance)and dropped out 2013.
-Anybody know what or which CBE schools I should go for that do pay by term? Also I'm looking at doing this part time so I'm not sure pay by term is best. But I have low income and only make about $500 profit per month.
-How can I find scholarships that will pay for the lower costing school, a course im looking at said its easy since pay by term is lower costing, I also may qualify for government grants since I most likely qualify as low income. How can I find these as well?
If anybody could help I would greatly appreciate it! And let me know how I can give back and help you as well please ! Thanks again for the help!
P.S. the course I was looking at is degreehackingacademy.com , I have a scheduled consultation with them but I'm pretty sure they will be expensive according to my wallet.

Here’s a tuition free Finance Engineering masters!
https://www.wqu.edu/mscfe
For competency based Finance I think your best bet is WGU
https://www.wgu.edu/online-business-degr...ogram.html
With your income definitely apply for FAFSA, look into scholarships based on your income, geographical location, or potentially based on diversity or disability opportunities. This can be through government, third party organizations, or the school itself
Another option is getting a job that offers tuition assistance. I’ve heard of many people getting hired at Walmart, Target, Starbucks, Chipotle or similar places that were willing to pay for their degree
And of course read up on the Wiki here for all the free and low cost credit opportunities that could be transferred towards your bachelors

If zonny61 wants to consult with you one-on-one for money, please report them for spam. IF they're just being nice, don't
Cheapest U.S. degrees at regular price that you don't have to speed through to save money are probably University of the People (secular), Newlane College (secular), and Nations University (religious). University of the people also offers scholarships based on need. However, all these are nationally accredited rather than regionally accredited, so you'll have to figure out if that matters to you and for your masters, and I don't know how they work with FAFSA. UoPeople and Newlane have generous transfer policies (up to 90 credits).
P.S. Do not buy the degree hacking course. This forum and the wiki have all the info you need: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Degree_Forum_Wiki

Ah good to know thanks new here. Awesome new information + wiki I'll have to do some research on those big 3 from the wiki and the ones you listed. That was a big help! FYI, of the big three, tesu is the most flexible choice for most people, then excelsior. We don't usually recommend COSC because they are much pickier about what they transfer in. However, with the number of community college credits you have, COSC maybe a reasonable choice. It's just rare that it comes out on top after all comparisons are made. And of course, with tesu and cosc being State schools, living in New Jersey / Pennsylvania or Connecticut will influence how attractive those schools are.
At the bottom of the front page of the wiki, there is a link to a page "choosing the right college"; it gives details and table format of all the colleges we regularly talk about on this forum, making it pretty easy to compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Ch...University
I would recommend reviewing all the other links at the bottom of the front page of the wiki as well. Doing that will give you a good overview of your various options for completing a degree cheaply and/or quickly and help you narrow down to the ones that suit you best. Then post here again for help narrowing things down further!

just a heads up: Based on the answers some people have posted here from ai, I wouldn't depend on it for accurate information about cheapest colleges, classes and services that colleges offer, or prices. The algorithms used in creating those large language models teach the AIs to parrot information based on how often people talk about it on the internet, rather than how useful or accurate the information is. So, for example, since large universities have more students and more people talking about them on the internet, the results will often skew toward universities that are frequently advertised or have a lot of students, like SNHU, rather than what might actually be the best fit for your question. If you ask about price, they will mix and match in state tuition with out of state tuition, making it really hard to compare prices of different colleges.
Good luck!
