Edit Reason: added question
)
My accumulated credits are listed in my sig below.
Trying to choose between Thomas Edison and Liberty programs to best apply my existing credits, but cost is the other main factor.
1. Thomas Edison BSBA in Entrepreneurship, with Marketing Cert (can't find the info on the marketing cert, but I remember it from a previous search)
2. Thomas Edison BSBA in General Management with Marketing Cert, and Entrepreneurship Cert (is there an Entrepreneurship Cert?)
3. Liberty BSBA in Entrepreneurship (and a Marketing Cert, if they offer one)
I'm sure I'll have to grab a SDC membership to fill out some of the required courses, especially with TESU. No problem there. And I still need to take the CSM course/s for Quantitative Reasoning.
How would my courses transfer in? What courses would remain for me to complete?
Also, I can't remember all of the fees and costs associated with TESU, and am worried it gets very expensive if there's a per semester fee, or some other cost that recurs every so often. I've never used FAFSA, so it's available to me. Don't remember if this helps with TESU or if there's some issue that prevents it
Main thing with Liberty is that I can transfer in 90 credits, but have to take all additional credits through them. I prefer the study and pass a test method of alt credits, but more importantly, the additional university courses add to cost.
Some folks on this forum are really knowledgeable about this stuff, and like taking the time to figure this out. So I appreciate any help here. This kind of technical stuff is tedious and overwhelming to me.
I'm on vacation and will check for and answer any replies each evening.
Thanks.

TESU allows you to transfer in up to 114 out of 120 credits. However, you will need a total of at least 30 RA credits. The capstone & cornerstone count toward those credits, so you only need 24 RA credits. If you don't take at least 16 credits at TESU, there is an additional residency waiver fee of about $3200.
The very cheapest way to get a degree at TESU would be:
Apply to TESU (if you haven't already), spend $50 on the Medical Terminology TECEP to get you fully enrolled. Enrollment lasts for 12 months.-
Take 5 easy TECEPs OR 5 classes from ONU. $750 - 15 RA credits
Do a flat-rate 16-credit-term at TESU: capstone, cornerstone, PLA-100, plus 3 easy ePacks or 100-level courses. $4778
Not counting SDC/Sophia/DSST/CLEP, that makes a TESU degree about $6000.
Liberty, on the other hand, I believe they require you to take 30 credits from them. At $390/credit, that's about $12000 for a Liberty University degree.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

TESU would be cheaper that's for sure.
Some students here do go to Liberty Unversity Online though we don't have much feedback from them.
Liberty Unversity Online does accept Study.com courses

Thanks for the response. I'm thinking it all through.
What are the "easy TECEPs"? Not sure if this is the best method for me. I'd like most credits to either interest me or be relevant to my degree, not just fill up with nothing courses. In addition, I don't think this would get me to a Marketing Cert either, which is 18 credits (some of my current credits may transfer in to this).
What's ONU?
Not sure about 16 credits per term either. I'm a grown man with 4 kids and a business. It sounds a little overloaded.
Forgot to mention that LU discounts credits to $250 for me, as a veteran.

Easy TECEPs are LL ones in subjects that interest you. Unfortunately, with how many credits you already have, you may find yourself duplicating some if you want to get a TESU degree. It's cheaper & easier in the long run. You can see the TECEP exams here: https://www2.tesu.edu/listalltecep.php Unless you are military, TECEPs do NOT count toward residency.
ONU is Olivet Nazarene University (no relation to the bad Olivet University). Courses are $50/credit ($150 each), you don't have to pay until after completing the class. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Ol...University
A 16 credit term can be done relatively easily by pre-studying ahead of the term and taking 3 ePacks. ePacks are essentially TECEP exams that cost the same as regular courses and that DO count toward residency. You can see a list of ePacks here: https://www2.tesu.edu/listallc.php?type=EP
Liberty would still cost more for you. And you would probably have to duplicate some courses with them as well.

You have a lot of credit; unfortunately, it's not in the right places - it may have been better to plan first to maximize your time. But, since that's water under the bridge, here's what you need to get the TESU BSBA/Entrepreneurship w/Marketing Cert:
Civic Engagement - American Government (CLEP) or POLS 103: Comparative Politics (SDC)
Managerial Accounting - ACC 102: Intro to Managerial Accounting (SDC)
Quant Skills for Business - CSM Learn course
Business Comm - I'm not certain that Sophia's Communication at Work will fit, if not, you can take BUS 113: Business Communication (SDC)
Int'l Management - you need an UL core course, so this is a good one: BUS 308: Globalization & International Management (SDC)
BUS 121: Intro to Entrepreneurship
MARK 301: Marketing Research
FIN 306: Small Business Finance
And then 2 add'l UL AoS courses from the following:
- ACC 303: Cost Accounting
- BUS 315: Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- BUS 321: Small Business Management
Then for the Marketing Cert:
- BUS 102: Principles of Marketing (will already have from the Core)
- MARK 301: Marketing Research (will already have from the Entre AoS)
- BUS 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising
- MARK 302: Consumer Behavior
- MARK 306: Principles of Selling
- MARK 308: Applied Marketing
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers DSST Computers, Pers Fin CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats Ed4Credit Acct 2 PF Fin Mgmt ALEKS Int & Coll Alg Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics Kaplan PLA

Thanks for the replies.
I didn't go into this with a thought of only doing courses that would count. I just enjoy the learning process, and the online study + test format is easy for me. There are still some other courses I'd like to take, at onlinedgree and SDC, even if they won't assist my degree path.
One thing that gets me about TESU is having to take TECEPS or epacks that aren't really interesting or relevant, or wouldn't give me the value of a more interesting/practical course. Everybody has their considerations, but I don't "need" a degree. I'd just like one.
The other part about TESU is the time factor, and having to rush in order not to pay extra fees. Maybe it's not as bag a deal as I think it might be. However, I'm a little uneasy that I'll overcommit by taking on more credits than was prudent, just to avoid extra fees.
Now having a better idea of TESU requirements, I wonder how much more work, time, cost would be involved in the LU route.

Every single degree on the planet has courses that people don't find interesting or relevant. That's just part of college.

So true. That's how I feel about English Comp. I can write, having to prove it is neither interesting nor relevant to me. Ethics was a hot mess. I would have hated to need to do a full-length course on basic Psychology or Sociology. Thank goodness for being able to get things over and done with quickly!

I had to take a course in literature back in the day. Boring as heck! The weeks about poetry were like pure torture. I had friends who thought it was the greatest class ever and wished the whole course was poetry. I probably would have stepped into rush hour traffic if I had to spend 15 weeks on a poetry class. Waterboarding would be less cruel. LOL Sophia's ethics class was not my friend!
