Which 30 credits should I take at UMPI? BA Management and Leadership
#1
I am about to start my journey of taking Sophia and Study.com classes and then transfer to UMPI. Iam going to take the Bachelor's Degree in Buisness Administration, Management and Leadership. I have a prior transcript with ENG Composition I and a bunch of computer classes. I know there are 5 classes I have to take at UMPI as there is no Sophia or Study.com equivalent. They are,
  1. BUS 489 - Buisness Policy and Strategy
  2. BUS 469 - Strategic Professional Communication
  3. BUS 440 - Buisness Analytics
  4. BUS 325  - Financial Management and
  5. BUS 200 - Intermediate Buisness Computing
I still need 5 more courses to meet the 30 credit minimum. What would you recommend? I'm looking for the 5 easiest classes to take at UMPI instead of Sophia or Study.com. I've seen some people on here suggest the following,  but IDK.

  1. BUS 245 - for the language GE course
  2. ENG 121 - English Composition II
  3. PCJ 215-  Buisness Communication
  4. MAT 140 - Buisness Math and
  5. POS 101 - America Government
Thanks in advance!

BUS245 for the language GE course? So confused by what this means. BUS245 isn't in the GEC. It's not a language course either so I'm super confused. It's a required course for some majors/minors.

It's listed in the general courses for 5C for the BA Management and Leadership Degree.  Yeah I know,  it's weird. It's a programming language class.

Where do you see this? 5C is a foreign language requirement. I know what the class is as I took it.

@Downer, thanks for the screenshot, you should contact the advisor to make sure your requirements are all met. This may hit the 5C, but it still doesn't hit the "proper language" requirement, you want to verify with the advisor who makes the final decision. We can only advise on a few things but can't make the decision for you... Again, UMPI has multiple requirements that can be 'hit' with other courses, I tell people not to look at double dipping but to make sure to hit requirements and the credits needed.

VERY strange! Everyone has been required to complete a foreign language for 5C.

I am taking my Sophia and Study.com classes now to prepare for the UMPI - BABA Management and Leadership degree.  I know I have to take a minimum of 30 credits at UMPI. My question is that I read somewhere that I am required to take a certain amount of those credits in the Major area. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks
