Not sure if anyone is familiar with NIU. If you are, I am trying to help out a friend. He completed everything except for his thesis with NIU (when it was the JMIC and then NDIC). So....I am encouraging him to transfer his credits to a school that could award him most of his credits (a generous transfer policy). His bachelors GPA was a 2.7, but for his MSSI I believe he did fairly well in comparison....then life got in the way (family, divorce, 9/11, etc). He doesn't have the ability to go back to submit a thesis. Anyone know of a school that would take most of what he already completed? I don't want to go too much into the topic of his degree or major. I just want to encourage him, if I can...with your help. Like most, costs matter a great deal due to his situation and time to complete. Normally he works fulltime, but not at the moment (not sure how long that will last).
