This happened twice to my son. Both times it was resolved. Open up a help ticket in MyEdison and address it to the Office of Test Administration.

This happened to me when I took the Marketing Communications TECEP. The proctor forgot to mail in the exam to Thomas Edison....It had been sitting in his safe for over two months.

Not to worry even if that exam never arrives there is a protocol for MIA exams. One of my midterms made it to TESC but not my mentor. What happened was they gave me a choice of retaking the exam, the course, or agreeing to drop the weight of the midterm and have the mentor grade me on my WAs, DFs and final exam alone. Of course I chose the latter and my final grade posted on time. The stipulation was to allow 30 days from the date TESC mailed the test to mentor (or in your case the date your proctor states he/she mailed exam to TESC) for it to be considered lost. So in my case it ended up being declared lost the week of finals.

Hope this helps to put your mind at ease.

BTW, this is probably the main reason they are now slowly shifting the courses to the new online proctoring and or final papers/case analyses.

I contacted the testing center and they said it was sent to eh professor on the 20th of Oct and it should have arrived already. Now I am waiting to hear back from the testing center because as of yesterday the prof has not received the exam.

Well that's good news! Now if they still require 30 days from mail date and he has not received the packet of exams by Nov 19th they will drop the weight of the midterm. Whoo Hooo. Honestly it depends on the course, but sometimes its best you don't have the midterm:ack: to weigh down your final grade.Big Grin
