What's the process to get an ACE transcript?
#1
I was curious what exactly are the procedures for someone to get an ACE transcript for the classes someone took from Sophia, SL, SDC,etc?  I know that a member on this forum has addressed  this issue before but it has been awhile.  If a class is going to expire soon, like Sophia's U.S. History 1 class, is going to expire on April 30th does the student also need to have that class listed on  their ACE transcript  on or before the class expires or if someone waits until say May 2and to put that class on an ACE transcript but has completed the class on or before the expiration date will ACE still honor or allow that class to be placed on an ACE transcript.?  Does ACE charge a fee to have the classes transferred to an ACE transcript?  Thank you!

Here are instructions on how to both add a course to an ACE transcript and request a transcript be sent out: https://support.study.com/support/soluti...t-from-ace-

Here is the ACE CREDIT website: https://www2.acenet.edu/credit/?fuseacti...ripts.main

You need to take and complete course before it expires, but you can add it to your transcript at a later date.

there is no fee to add a course to the transcript, but when you need a transcript sent to an institution there is a fee at that time. It's been a while so I forget the exact amount, but I believe it is within $15-$25.

The ACE credit for Sophia's US history 1 expiration date was updated. It is now good from 3/1/2020 - 2/28/2023. But as example, if you finish it within that time, and wait until the day after expiration to have ACE put it in on transcript, it's ok. However, no reason to wait. You finish sophia (or other ACE) course, and then open a new tab to your ACE account and add it then.

recent costs with ACE transcript:
1. I was not charged to set up the account initially (dec. 2019) found the process easy to follow on screen.
2. No fee to get courses on the transcript
3. 20 US dollars for first transcript
3. 15 US dollars for next transcript.

sending to TESU was click and click and done. ACE sent it electronically within an hour and I could even get a message on my ACE account showing it was received, and later when it was viewed by TESU. quick simple, easy to do.
