What's the fastest & cheapest online law school degree (JD) in the US?

The LP sounds like a Paralegal on steroids. "Once a license is obtained, Legal Paraprofessionals will be able to provide legal advice and assistance to clients in the permitted practice areas, including client representation in court."

Anyway, I think it is pretty cool, especially for those who live in Arizona, and at worst, it should check the box for working as a highly qualified paralegal in any State.

Are there any statistics showing pass rates of the "bar" from online law school students? Are there any statistics from graduates of online law schools on their ability to obtain gainful employment? My few discussions with attorneys have told me it would be wise to avoid attending online law schools. I never met a practicing lawyer who went to law school online. However, I have met foreign lawyers who completed the LLM on campus at prestigious law schools and were able to pass the bar and practice successfully. Perhaps there is some merit in attending an online foreign law school than an accredited US LLM school? Btw, it is understood that LLM and MLS are entirely different degrees.

Google can help you with the stats you're looking for. Online law school is pretty new in the US. I do not believe all 50 states accept online law degrees today. When you meet people who've passed the bar, do you ask how many times they took it? Many people do not pass the first time they take it.

What does med school have to do with law school? Yes LLM and MLS are not the same degree.

I corrected it to an online international law school. I think it is called a Bachelor of Law, much like the US
JD? The article I read compared the LP to an NP or PA in the medical profession, but I mistyped it. My research shows that ABA schools have the highest pass rate, around 72 percent. California is about 50 percent with one of the most difficult bar exams in the country, with unaccredited law school first-time takers at 28 percent. https://www.calbar.ca.gov/Portals/0/docu...istics.pdf

Typically in the US, one does not complete a Bachelor of Law. They usually complete a bachelor's degree in history, political science, public policy, criminal justice, psychology, or business. Those seem to be the most common bachelor's for those considering law school.

In order to take the Bar Exam in many states, you need a JD from an ABA program. They don't have an alternative option. In my state, an unaccredited law school is not acceptable. And if only 28% of first timers from an unaccredited program pass, what's that tell you?
