Several of my friends have Ph.Ds or MS/MA/MBAs, and all of them are supportive of my pursuit of the BS via this non-traditional method (as is my MS-degreed boss and our doctoral-candidate CEO).
Just remember, Bill Gates did not have the patience for attending a B&M school. He dropped out because he had other stuff to do.
