Hello!
I am taking my very last CLEP tomorrow afternoon (principles of Marketing) and am new to InstaCert.
I have been working on the flashcards and will totally cram tonight in preparation, but I am curious....is there anything else I should be doing?
Normally, I take an official CLEP study guide sample test and google all the multiple choice answers to at least have knowledge of each term. This has served me well.
Marketing is a whole new subject for me....I need to pass with just 50...I seriously need some encouragement!!!!! The flashcards provide 300+ questions and facts....do I need to know it all? Or just be familiar with it??? I will take whatever info I can get. Thanks in advance.

If you've already went over the flashcards, maybe you should take a peek a different source for tonight.
I recommend this one:
Principles of Marketing CLEP Study Guide
Two-factor theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Theory X and theory Y - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is not a very difficult exam, and I'm sure you'll pass it regardless of what you do tonight. Just don't forget a good night's sleep and a light breakfast.

Since you already belong to IC, how about checking out the specific exam feedback in the main category...it contains a plethora of information

Do you have to take it tomorrow or can you postpone it?
I only ask as (for me) I like to use several sources of info. For this one I used IC of course along with the REA book, the Standard Deviants video, and Petersons Practice Exams.
Remember, if you fail (and I hope/trust that you will not), you must wait 180 days before taking it again.
Bottom line, postpone and study another 180 hours or take it again in 180 days.....

GOOD LUCK!!

Fortunately for you, CLEP Marketing is one of the easiest CLEP exams, in my opinion. If you can score at least 90% correct for each section of the IC flashcards, you should be more than able to pass.

What did you decide and/or how did you do?
