That means this forum makes up a noticeable amount of their enrollment.
I think it was mentioned to be ~100 in 2020/2021? If so, I wonder if they enlarged it because of all of the students coming from here.
I definitely remember that ss20ts mentioned being told that most YourPace students don't complete more than 2 or 3 classes per session. Now we've got students here doing 8-14 classes per session! That's got to be quite a change for UMPI.
YourPace is currently designed to hold 150 students and they're near that now. They have plans to expand up to 400 in the next few years. This forum has helped YourPace grow tremendously. UMPI doesn't seem to advertise the YourPace program which I don't understand at all. I see sooooo many ads for online schools every single day. I've never seen a single ad for UMPI which is so strange. I only know about them from the forum.
YourPace was designed for Maine adult students who are employed. The goal was for them to complete a full time semester without sitting in classes for 15 weeks taking 5 classes which most employed adults just can't do. The typical YourPace student is an adult employed Maine resident. The average student still only completes 2-3 courses per session. We're outliers. There are a few on here who fall under the average student category. Some of us have figured out how to manage academics and life. How else would we complete our ACE courses? It doesn't appear that most students in YourPace who don't come from the forum have that experience....completing courses on your own like we do with ACE courses.

Between the two schools, TAMUC seems to have far more resources and IMO more engagement. I get emailed invites to online events (and in-person events) all the time, one of which I joined and was really engaging and educational. I signed up to do an e-sports tournament. A lot of people don't care anything about that stuff, but I enjoy it.
When you contact UMPI through the YourPace website you're really contacting third party enrollment counselors. They're not employed at UMPI. They don't seem to know much about transferring or YourPace. They can be VERY pushy and quite annoying.
Did you complete the U of M application process? The application isn't processed through UMPI anymore. It can be a slow process. They need al transcripts before they approve a student. It can take a few weeks.
There aren't any online events for YourPace students. There's a ton of things that happen on campus and we're emailed about them almost every day.

I got past the acceptance process. Got the transfer credit report, the degree plan, had the advisor meeting. After that I would email further questions and get no response. I don't get it.

For TAMUC? Yes, they are pretty strange. I have e-mailed admissions over 4 times never get a response I have to call in every time. Who was your advisor? Tara? I also e-mailed orientation and nothing.

It's not weird and sometimes common for public/state university to be bogged down, an example was for the freebie at South Texas College, I had sent in all my details and they didn't process it until I actually gave them a call! I mean, I had a few other colleges do the same thing, so... patience as they say is a virtue. I would call them not email them if you want to get a status or to make sure the ball is rolling...

It's common for college employees not to respond unless you're an enrolled student. They have a heavy workload with their enrolled students. Many departments are understaffed. Taking the time to make a phone call will often times speed up the process. Emails are so easily lost in the shuffle as we all receive tons of email every day. Non-college email accounts may default to spam email as well.

Does Texas A&M University Commerce accept Sophia courses? If so, what is the limit?

You have a habit of coming to my rescue with correct answers, thank you. Do you know if they use proctored exams, projects or papers to demonstrate mastery of course content? I'm trying to find an alternative to UMPI since I'm not yet 20.
