WGU's "core subject areas" & certs for BS-Data Analytics

I asked my enrollment counselor when starting at WGU if they accept "other ACE-recommended coursework besides StraighterLine" and he had not idea what I meant (but he was familiar with StraighterLine). I later learned they were flexible with ACE and transferred in a few things. So you're right, an EC counselor saying no tro NCCRS probably isn't gospel.

That being said, we haven't seen anyone here successfully transfer in NCCRS, and we don't know of any NCCRS providers who have specific agreements with WGU. I'm strongly leaning towards them not accepting NCCRS, but I'd love to learn otherwise.

I called WGU and spoke with an enrollment counselor.  I was advised that WGU does not accept NCCRS credits.  However, I'm not sure this is gospel because the counselor did not know the answer when I initially asked.  I guess if my neighbor applies and submits transcripts, he'll get an opportunity for a second opinion.

Keep us posted!!  I have a friend working on GenEds for WGU and if they do take NCCRS, I'd like to give him the option.

I'll definitely share what I know.  It's my neighbor who is applying to WGU.  Sometimes he jumps on things quickly and sometimes he waits for extended periods.
