Hello! I'm considering WGU's BS in Secondary Biological Education and I'd like to try to earn as many general education credits as I can before enrolling. If someone could correct me or suggest different things that would help a lot. Thank you for any and all help.
I already have ENG 100 College Writing from the University of Southern Maine for English Composition I. I'm considering the following courses to cover general education and some science requirements. I don't really know how much WGU would accept, but I feel like these are generally good ideas.
Sophia OR Study.com English Composition II (English Comp 2)
Sophia OR Study.com Public Speaking (Intro to Communication)
Sophia College Algebra (College Algebra)
Sophia Introduction to Statistics (Probability and Statistics)
Sophia US History 1 (Survey of United States History)
Sophia Ancient Greek Philosophers (Intro to Humanities)
Sophia Environmental Science (Ecology and Environmental Science)
Study.com Intro to Astronomy OR Earth Science (Integrated Physical Sciences)
I'm not very sure if these would be good to transfer in or if I should just take them at WGU.
Study.com Intro to Biology with Lab (Intro to Biology)
Study.com Anatomy and Physiology (Human Anatomy and Physiology)
Study.com Basic Genetics (Heredity and Genetics)
Study.com Microbiology (Molecular and Cellular Biology)
Study.com Chemistry I with Lab (Natural Science Lab/ Chemistry with Lab)
Study.com Chemistry II with Lab (Natural Science Lab/ Chemistry with Lab)
Study.com Foundations of Education (Educational Foundations)
Thank you again for helping!
