Hi everyone,
I am currently working on completing as many classes on Sophia/Study/alternates for my BS Business Administration Management degree at WGU. There are 4 classes that are technically transferable but I can't find on Sophia/Study/Straighterline... are these classes I will just have to take at WGU?
The classes are:
Innovative and Strategic Thinking
Compensation and Benefits
Workforce Planning: Recruitment and Selection
Thanks in advance!
Currently:
UCA (University of Central Arkansas) Ph.D. Change Leadership for Equity and Inclusion
Completed:
WGU MSML
TAMUC BAAS Org Leadership
PMP, CSM, CSPO, Google Project Management Certificate
Sophia 19 Classes | Study.com 12 Classes

Not sure if you can still take Penn Foster courses, but they have Compensation Management (LL), Employee Benefits (UL, includes compensation) and Supply Chain (UL).
I know Study.com also has Ops Management.

Generally, courses on WGU should take a week or less to do. I wouldn't mess with Saylor even though they are cheap, their exams are known to be tough.
Check this list for what transfers:

Check the Wiki for best courses to take as this is a similar degree:

Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Keep in mind that WGU has a hard limit of 75% transfer credit, per degree program. My understanding is that most schools with a transfer limit will let you pick and choose which credits you want to apply, but if WGU has evaluated your transfers, and it's over 75%, they won't let you enroll in that degree program. So if you complete 50% on Study.com and 30% on Sophia, then you can't submit the Sophia courses for transfer, unless you are willing to switch to a different degree program where the total is less than 75%.

Do you have any proof showing this to be true?

No, just what I've been warned about from my enrollment counselor. It's possible that there's some way around it, but WGU is very particular about how/when transfers happen, so I personally wouldn't chance it.

Thank you for pointing this out! I completely missed that aspect.
