The VA pays for Certification an Licensing Exams. I think it does cost you one month of VA benefit per exam? I will know soon as I am going to put in a few.

Using GI bill on a TECEP is a huge waste of money in my opinion. For every test you take you will be charged a whole month worth of benefits. However, if you are active duty you can use TA to cover the cost of the test. Atleast i used it in the Air Force. If you are going to use GI bill to cover the costs of a test it should be a test worth atleast 1k (they cover up to 2k)

I agree this option wouldn't be advantageous unless the test is very expensive or you don't plan on using your GI Bill for anything else

I emailed the VA GI Bill directly. Below is the answer. For cheap exams its not worth it. $2000 exams maybe.
