It won't really matter, if you want to pay out of pocket or not, but since you're in Guild, it should be free anyways (I would just ask for the freebie, you can get me coffee with that cash! <wink>). SNHU has had updates, but I would follow this for all Sophia.org/Study.com courses until you're done, then start at SNHU last. Link: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/SN...egree_Plan You know what, I didn’t even ask if they could reimburse me for using Sophia….. let me ask! That would be perfect. I could start SNHU in October

The Guild resources page lists Sophia and Study.com so I do wonder if they pay for them.

https://schools.guildeducation.com/ I do know that not every company has the same opportunities. For my company, they do have Sophia and Study. But only for a few classes. I’m going to ask if they can pay for a membership lol

I was told to follow the Gen Ed guideline here and work on this while going to school. My question is does anyone have a list of courses from SNHU to take in an order that will work to with the max 3 classes every term? Or does SNHU make that for you? I am starting in 8/28 with no transfer credits. I am understanding that I can take Sophia courses while enrolled. But, wondering how that would go while taking classes. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not from the US.

The Guild is a specific type of employer sponsored tuition assistance program - https://www.guild.com. You have to work for one of the partner companies in order to participate.

More info on this is, Guild Education only handles companies in the US, if you're not working in or for a company in the US, Guild can't handle your tuition assistance or reimbursement. An example, you're working Australia or Canada, and your company is a partner with Guild, you can't use their tuition assistance as an option, this should also be the case for Bright Horizons (EdAssist) as well, many companies use these two as their partner.
Now, having said that, there is a bright side, there are so many tuition assistance programs out there, if you work for any company that has international offices and has their own program for tuition assistance or reimbursement, you're good to go! An example, JetBlue airways, another example is Amazon with their Career Choice option... The world of education is your oyster, you can try finding something that will work for you...

That's just one type of program - there are others. My daughter works at Papa John's (pizza) and they pay 100% up front for Purdue Global - she is taking 2 courses right now, has taken about 6 in the past, and has never paid a penny. There is no limit to the amount each year either. She'll be completely done with her degree next summer, and it will have been completely free (we are paying OOP for some Sophia, SL, or SDC).
