Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank everyone in the degree forum on giving me a idea on how to get B.A in Natural Science (TESC).
Now here is my problem, I need the last 3 credit for a B.A and I need to have it done by Dec 31. (I have already send in the graduation form in.)
Is there a course like SL? That I could take for the upper credit? I once saw a post regarding a computer science course like Aleks that transfer to TESC (Can't find the post)?
I already took DSST MIS & TESC Network Exam too.
So I'm really out of options, please if you have a suggestion I'm in all ears.
Thank you

Have you taken any FEMAs? I heard some of those transfer as UL credit.

You could knock three credits out relatively quickly depending on how fast you move through the modules...
This is the list of credits that TESC currently accepts. You could cross reference it with the above list of what is considered UL although you may want to confirm it with TESC before you actually take the classes.

Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

FEMAs are free electives and will not work. Straighterline's Microbiology is UL at TESC. There are also a few Uexcel exams that might work, but you will have to verify with an advisor. Note: TESC's advisors don't seem to know that ECEs are now Uexcel.

I got double credit on the microbiology in tesc.
microbiology with lab 4 credit <--community college
microbiology 3 credit <---SL
I also have like 20 something Fema credits, but didn't transfer that in.

You were reading my mind, I was wondering if micro via CC and via SL would duplicate! THANKS! (I could use that to get one step closer to my own BA...hummm)

I think it is going to be really difficult finding something in that time frame. I tried putting together a TESC degree plan and had trouble finding courses that would meet all the upper level requirements. I think Sanantone's suggestion to go through the Uexcel courses and see if you can find something that TESC will accept is your best bet.
I know that when I tried putting this degree plan together that I came up one or two courses short, so it appeared that you would probably have to take one or two traditional courses for this degree. However, there were a couple Uexcel exams that looked like they might be accepted as natural science courses if your TESC advisor was flexible.

Is OP talking about TEEX?
It would be helpful to know what science courses you have completed, so we can make some recommendations.

Ask about the Uexcels for Bioethics, Pathophysiology, and Basic Genetics. IIRC, someone said that TESC said the TEEX courses won't count as natural sciences, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Remember, if the advisor says he/she can't find the Uexcel on the ACE website, it is because it's still listed as an Excelsior College Exam.

I think its that one "TEEX", its almost like the Aleks system right? you take exam then try to reach for 70%?
Here's the following course I took :
General Chemistry I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Microbiology with lab (CC) (4) (lower)
Microbiology (SL) (3) (upper)
General Biology I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Pathophysiology (4) but tesc transfer as (3) (upper)
DSST MIS (3) (upper)
TESC network exam (3) (upper)
Anatomy & Physiology I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Genetic exam <--- somehow I failed this
Biochemistry (4) (upper)
If I didn't fail the ECE Genetics I be okay now, but because of that.
I will ask the adviser on TEEX, if that will meet the natural science requirement.
Also does anyone know, what the latest I could send the transcript in for the March graduation?
(If I were to send something in Jan, would I still be safe?)
Thanks again

Does TESC count Basic Genetics as upper level? The Uexcel site has it as lower (not that it matters now).
BioEthics is upper level. I think would that would work.
