TEEX is not really like ALEKS. On the old system, you could take the one pre-test for the whole course and skip doing anything else if you scored at least a 70% in order to receive a certificate. If you didn't score at least 70%, you had to take a post-test, and they provided lessons that were optional to view. When they got ACE approval, you had to average 80% on all of the courses within a grouping of courses in order to receive credits. On the new system, each course is broken down into modules. They make you take a pre-test, at least click through the lesson, and score at least an 80% on the post-test before you can move on to the next module. I don't know if they will let you skip the post-test for a module if you score 80% the first time on the pre-test.

BioEthics is upper level. I would that would work.
ECE Basic Genetics counts as (3) upper to TESC.
As for BioEthics I got shot down. (It would not count as upper)

I emailed the adviser for the cyber class? (saw 3 course) I will let everybody know, whether they will count it or not.

Cyber Security for Business Professionals is counted as a management course. I think it's MAN-399. That's cool that Basic Genetics was verified as UL, but not cool about Bioethics. According to the PLA database, Bioethics can be BIO-405.
I didn't feel like searching this forum, so I found the email I had with the equivalencies.
Computer Security for IT Professionals = CIS-344 Computer Security
Computer Security for Business Professionals = MAN-299 a generic equivalency (this will definitely not count as a social science unless they reevaluate it as something else)
Computer Security for Everyone = They forgot to answer me on this one, but I think it's CIS-299, which would mean it's not going to count as UL anything.
Edit: I found the thread that verifies this.

Thank you, the link you posted was the link I saw while ago.
Computer Security for IT Professionals = CIS-344 Computer Security <-- Ace says 2 credits, but does TESC give 3? or 2?
going to start working on those 3 courses.

How do I request TEEX to send the course info to ACE? Is there a form?
Or
Do I just put it in what course I took from TEEX to my completed list in ACE (course taken?) and ACE will take it from there?

In that regard, TEEX is like ALEKS. You just request for the course to be put on your ACE transcript, and ACE will have TEEX verify.

Sora Wrote:I think its that one "TEEX", its almost like the Aleks system right? you take exam then try to reach for 70%?
Here's the following course I took :
General Chemistry I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Microbiology with lab (CC) (4) (lower)
Microbiology (SL) (3) (upper)
General Biology I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Pathophysiology (4) but tesc transfer as (3) (upper)
DSST MIS (3) (upper)
TESC network exam (3) (upper)
Anatomy & Physiology I & II with lab (8) (lower)
Genetic exam <--- somehow I failed this
Biochemistry (4) (upper)
If I didn't fail the ECE Genetics I be okay now, but because of that.
I will ask the adviser on TEEX, if that will meet the natural science requirement.
Also does anyone know, what the latest I could send the transcript in for the March graduation?
(If I were to send something in Jan, would I still be safe?)
Thanks again
I've got a similar transcript, but I can't get that degree finished because I have too much biology. Looking at your list I see you have more bio than I do (you have 1 add'l microbiology course and genetics- which I didn't do) how are you not exceeding the 18 credit max in your major?
