Making sense of TESU BSBA General Management degree requirements

(01-10-2019, 12:39 PM)Acam10 Wrote: dfrecore- what about the statistic class needed for BSBA General Mgmt degree. Would Business Statistics transfer in for Statistics? What about a Probability and Statistics instead of Statistics 101? Also, for a non mathy kid, which route would you suggest to get these credit hours? Thanks.
Also, I read in the thread above - only 6 elective credit hours? What about the 17-20 General Electives? Are they not “free” classes? By that I mean can’t my son just take any classes he wants to fulfill the general electives section? Sorry I meant to PM this

Tried to PM you back, but you have it turned off, so I can't reply to you.

Any Stats course will work.  From anywhere we mention on here: saylor, study.com, DSST, SL, ALEKS, etc.

Gen Ed is completely different from Free Electives.  Gen Ed's are listed at the top of the degree, and include things like science, math, compsci, communications, art, history, psych, etc.

Free Electives are basically any college-level coursework.  Health & PE are two that work here a lot (aren't considered GE's).  Business courses will also work here, especially if you're not a business major (business courses normally aren't GE).

General Electives have to be General Education credits. This means English, Math, Science, Humanities... stuff that would fit in GenEds. In particular, it isn't business courses, applied tech (like spreadsheets or welding), Personal Finance, PE, etc...
