University of Phoenix founder John Sperling dies - The Denver Post
John Sperling's death was mentioned on the other forum this morning. I'm no fan of UofP, but will say that the disruptive nature of what this guy did helped us all (in non-traditional education). What he accomplished with UofP helped define the landscape of online asynchronous higher education.
