Georgia Tech's OMSCS is $6k
UT Austin's MS in CS is $10k
ASU's MCS is $15k
UIUC's MCS is $21k

I'd try the first three options and if I fail, I'll apply to UIUC.

I think if I lived in Illinois Wisconsin or Minnesota  and could afford it. I would definitely pick Illinois. The $10k difference will likely shake out with the weight that school will carry in that area. After all it is a top 15 school (top 10 in CS ) in the world
Georgia Tech won’t mean as much up there. Just as Illinois won’t in Georgia Alabama or Florida.

When looking at a program, it's not always about the price tag, everyone has their own 'list' they want to go through. Basically, prospective students really need to see what interests them most and fits their budget, learning style, requirements, etc. I usually look at the courses required and if those subjects interest me or not.

If you look at the programs listed above, you'll notice many of the courses taught are 'used' in several Data Science degrees. As always, look at the academic courses required for the degree and see if they interest you, each curriculum differ greatly, it really depends on the student and their needs, the program has overlapping courses with the plain jane MSCS obviously.

Yes, I noticed that program too. That is probably the best MBA program I have seen at a reasonable price.

Interestingly it says:
"This Specialization is part of an online degree program offered by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When you apply for a for-credit non-degree course through the university and complete it online, it counts as credit hours towards a degree at Illinois. All you have to do is apply through the university."

So if you take a specialization for free, you can earn credits if you do the MBA. Starts today. I heard the Courera work is easy, but it's only 10% of the work of the degree.

I'd try the first three options and if I fail, I'll apply to UIUC.

There is an option to do MS Management (iMSM) for 11k-ish, and it is stackable, counts towards half of iMBA degree should you choose to have MBA later on.

I seen. That. That’s great. What about the iMSA does that count completely toward iMBA as well ?

I didn't see anything indicating iMSA stackability to iMBA, while iMSM stackability is clearly announced https://onlinestudents.giesbusiness.illi...sm-to-imba
