Like it or not, we're all along for the ride. We vote, then watch the show unfold.

I watched and dealt with lazy and inept government workers for 15 years. So much bloat and redundancy.
Totally schadenfreude

I have no interest in bickering win anyone about this. I will say that I have been a big fan of the United States Institute of Peace for many years. I've mentioned it here. See above. USIP is largely a think thank. I've attended fascinating presentations and completed some thought provoking online training. I'm praying they come out of this unscaved USIP has a very small staff.

Nah, I was military. We were worked like dogs and were expected to continually pick up the slack for their failures.
Sorry reality bothers you.

That’s all well and good with the feels, but what are their significant accomplishments (tangible) to warrant a multi million dollar budget?
Think tanks can and should be privately funded.

Do you know what is their budget? Do you know how USIP is funded? Please share.

Their building would make a nice headquarters for DOGE. Hmm, there's a conspiracy theory for you.
