UMPI Enrollment Steps/Process

HI all - I recall months ago when I was initially researching UMPI a thread that described the steps during the application/enrollment process with UMPI. I have searched for about an hour and cannot find it. 

I applied to UMPI and was accepted in May 2023. I submitted all alt/previous credit transcripts, to which I have confirmation that they have been received by the Registrar's office. I have activated my account on Maine Street and the school email. The session I applied to starts July 3. 

What are the next steps? I was just sort of waiting for communication. I am assuming the transfer evaluation will start to populate from the various transcripts on Maine Street.... but then what? A meeting? An email? I recall something about an orange paper report in snail mail? A degree plan? When do I enroll in classes? The financial aid office said they cannot process my aid application until I am enrolled in classes.

Have you been checking your UMPI email? Your academic advisor (I'm going to guess it will be Jessica) should email you to schedule a call to get you enrolled. They will also email you your degree evaluation form. It takes the Registrar's Office several weeks to process transcripts. Once they are processed, you will see them in your MaineStreet account. You should also get a printed copy in the mail on bright orange paper. You most likely won't hear from Jessica until your transcripts have been evaluated because she can't do the degree evaluation form without them completed. She will enroll you in classes. It's not something you can do. You can email Jessica and see where you stand. She's VERY busy. Fridays during the summer UMPI is pretty much shut down as are many colleges.
