I was asking about the Coursera page which was posted. I don't see it listed on that website.

That's super funny. Sounds like me challenging my younger brother. He moves at his own pace, and nothing will rush him. My sister is all about these types of challenges. She secretly lives to be the favorite child. Has 'Your Favorite Child' as the ID for my father's phone

This course must have a high dropout rate because it has a robust set of mini projects throughout each module. It is not that the tasks are so complex, but it just feels like enough is enough at one point. I haven't been this happy to get done with a course as I was today receiving the approval on the final. The main reason I did the course was my curiosity about how the 3 UL credits transfer into UMPI (9 total with 6 LL). The courses in the Project Management plan that I feel have an outside shot for transfer with these Coursera ACE certs are:
BUS 345: Database Management Systems
BUS 359: IT Project Management
BUS 400: Project Management Applications
BUS 415: Operations Management
BUS 401: Advanced Project Management Applications II
I sent the latest transcripts off, so I figure by next week or so, we will know the results.
BUS359 hasn't been offered in YourPace in awhile. I haven't seen any credits from anywhere transfer in for BUS400 & BUS401. Those 2 courses are both project based. You create a project plan in each course based on a project you have been apart of. You also need to complete UL courses in your major at UMPI.
Where does it say this specialization is ACE certified? I'm looking and I don't see it. After reading the description of the 4 courses for this certificate, I don't see how those classes on data analytics would be same as these courses.
ETA: I think I found this course in the transfer database from IBM. It shows that the certificate transfers as BUS1XX.
ETA: There is a way to transfer BUS400 & BUS401 now but it's not a program available to most. YRUP 0022 & YRUP0023 transfer from Year Up.

Current credit status for Coursera courses:
IBM 0018 Data Analyst Professional Cert 12 BUS 1XX Business Elective (basically, duplicates the Google Data Analytics cert)
IBM 0022 Data Analysis/Visual Fnd Spec 9 BUS 1XX (6UL 3LL value with ACE)
Side note:
ACTF 0051 German Listen-Intermd Mid/High came in as 3 GEL 1XX (ACE value 6 credits)

For IBM0022 how is 9 credits of BUS1XX 6 UL and 3LL? It would be listed on the transcript as:
6 BUS3XX or BUS4XX
3 BUS1XX or BUS2XX
Is IBM0018 12 credits of all LL?
The German will also fill the foreign language requirement. It's listed as GEL1XX because UMPI doesn't offer German. Every course they give credit for that they don't offer gets a generic course number. Interesting that it's 3 credits when ACE gives 6.

The 6UL & 3LL are how ACE values it (as listed). The numbers outside of the parentheses are how UMPI values them. Perhaps it reads confusing.
Thanks for the information on the language credits. This was a second language course, so not needed; however, great to know still. It's the less expensive option for ACTF ($55), so a nice one to fill the language requirement.

Ah that explains it! It's interesting these are coming in as BUS credits instead of something in CS (COS is their code).

Agree/ This is why I thought there was an outside chance to count some as BUS UL. However, Jessica is asking the team for a second look as I have requested an additional review due to the ACE UL credit recommendation.

Our whole family has taken the listening and speaking exam.
My mom was the guinea pig to see if we could all pass. Her native language is German. She had great faith in the kids and told my father that he better start praying for help.
We found them pretty straightforward if you have intermediate to medium skills in the language. The exams are easy credits if the house has two languages. You can't wing the listening exam; it requires you to be a decent listener and reader of the language to navigate the options for the correct answer quickly. On the other hand, if you have a handle on the language, the speaking exam will seem like a breeze. Remember that to earn the max credits, freshen up on business, politics, and history conversations. The ability to touch on those areas secured some strong marks even for my father, who we were all shocked at his scores. He seems always to find the angle to crush exams.
I hope this helps.

I just wanted to come in and share an update on our initial term. Overall, we both have enjoyed the experience and consider the following as the highlights:
Academic Advisor - Jessica is a rock star and just a delight to work with. I don't know how she keeps such a positive spirit while managing the student count. Rarely does a day go by without a clear response to a question. Responses even happen on the weekend; I tend to feel guilty when pressing send because I think I am breaking her away from a little piece.
Courses: Straightforward and with respectable effort, the overall program is very manageable. The final assessment for the whole grade is an excellent system, and with two attempts available to you, the program is structured for you to succeed.
Speed: If one chooses, a tremendous amount of work can be accomplished in a term. My initial thought was to attempt to complete everything in one term; however, my father shared some words with me early into the program:
"Finishing in one term only matters for your ego, so take moments to enjoy the journey of completing this chapter in your life."
Keep in mind that he is the same person who did not take this into account years ago and was a maniac going from 0-120 in under 6 months to complete his BSBA at TESU and then knocked out his MSML & MBA both in one term (each) at WGU. However, after the moment, his advice comes from wishing he had enjoyed it a little more.
Even with these words, I was a little bit of a mini-maniac at times; however, I tried to remind myself to savor the victories of a course completed. I could have celebrated more, but I am a work in progress.
Here is what I completed from July 5th - August 15th
Study.com
HUM 103 Creative Decision Making
BUS 312 Advanced Operations Management
BIOLOGY 101L Introduction to Biology
UMPI
ENG 101 / MAT 140 / BUS 200 / BUS 240 / BUS 244 / BUS 260 / BUS 261 / BUS 321 / BUS 325 / BUS 330 / BUS 353
On the fence about whether to knock out some more classes this term since there are only a couple of classes left for the BABA. This is the last week to submit a draft for a course, so it limits a little of the flexibility if you have aspirations for a high GPA. After this week, you either nailed that 'A' on the first and only attempt or that 'B' is your grade (technically, you could also fail).
I am entertaining the idea of adding another major (Project Management or Supply Chain Management). Since I will complete the degree early into a second term, it's more than doable. My father has a celebration trip to the Dominic Republic once my sister and I complete our degrees, so a second major might only delay what I am sure will be an epic adventure.
To keep it short, my sister is only two courses behind me in her degree and will finish early into her second term. She has zero interest in adding a minor or major.
The only real battle we have at this point is our GPA. Once the term is done, I can confirm, but I think I might have a slight edge at this point! We both might only end up taking extra classes to secure the higher GPA
