He just wants a quick , and hopefully easy AA for now.
I think his company is paying for it.
he is going to apply to UMPI,
and see how his credits transfer.
then he will quickly fill in the missing courses with Sophia,
before he starts any UMPI classes.
Is that a good plan?
And thank you as always!!!
Yes, you want to apply for the AALS and BLS at the same time, just graduate the AALS first, there is no harm adding the BLS. You can then take enough Sophia.org for max transfer, I highly recommend taking as much classes as you can with that subscription, if he would like, add another month to max the 90 credits for transfer (AALS would only require a few classes, the BLS will need more). Your final classes are the UMPI residency requirements, 15 for AALS and another 15 for the BLS - If he can do 10 classes in 1 session, he can have both for $1800. It depends on the energy/time they have devoted to studies... look at 2 sessions by try to finish in 1.

As Always EXCELLENT guidance!
I am going to explain this to him!
Is completing 30 UMPI credits in one session,
pretty doable for the
BLS?
20+ hours a week of college time.

My co worker is going to start at UMPI, for his Associates after the New Year!
He did not get started yet.
He said there are 5 UMPI course that have to be taken at UMPI.
And 45 credits of free electives, that he can take at Sophia or anywhere else,
Is that correct?
THANK YOU!!!

No, 45 are not elective credits, it's general education and elective credits. There is a difference between elective and general education requirements... Review the UMPI WIKI pages for general education, either use Sophia.org or my new favorite, Study.com for them.
