Two degrees?
#1
Okay, I searched and didn't have luck finding an answer.

I'm finishing up my Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with minors in MIS and project management and will be done with all classes in August.

I went to add an extra class to keep me full time for my last term (using VR&E) and realized that with all of the classes i've completed (will graduate with over 150 credits because of credit requirement to test for CPA) that I will also have all classes required for the BBA - Project Management & Information systems program.

Is there a possibility that I can graduate with both of these degrees? or add Business Administration as another major on my accounting degree?

I think you would have to graduate with your first degree, then come back for your second. But I'm not sure you'd be allowed to get the second one if you have the MIS minor. This is something you need to discuss with your advisor.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)

Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

@hello_there, easy. Upgrade those two minors to a concentration, you end up with the BA and BABA with a concentration instead. You just need to make sure all your classes are complete, it'll look like this when you're done. BA Accounting/BA Business Admin with PM & IS concentration.

You can't do this. You'll have completed almost the entire PM&IS Concentration. You would need to complete the BA in Accounting and hte BABA with PM&IS Concentration. You don't have to graduate. You can do them both at the same time.

Thank you! I was thinking this would be the case but didn't know exactly how they would do it. I'm reaching out to my success coach now to confirm I'll have all classes needed.

Thanks again!

why not do BA accounting (no minor)

Yes, a second degree from them is possible as long as your BLS was the first degree... The BLS can't be the second degree in their regulations. Do you have a specific degree you're looking at? There are a few BA, BABA options to select from...

Yes, one degree, double major, it'll show as this: BA Accounting/BA Business Admin with PM & IS concentration

So what if one were to pursue a BABA-Marketing and also a BLS in Project Management? Would they be able to do both of those? Or is that silly and a double major BABA is more sensible?
