Hey, I was wondering if I have to get another academic evaluation every time I send in a transcript? If not do they update the transcripts themselves? It's been a long time now and no update. Thanks

They update your transcript. Just keep checking your degree audit page. You can also create a ticket to Academic Advisement only through blackboard support. Below is the email that I sent. My audit was updated within a week. Prior to sending an email tickler (thanks to advice from a forum member) it took 7wks from TESC's receipt date for an update to transcript. Good luck!
Department: Academic Advisement only
Topic: Evaluation/Update Status
Subject: Processing Status
Severity: Critical
Hello,
I have a few score reports and a transcript that have been delivered to TESC. Could you please help to ensure they are processed as soon as possible?

So, how long does it normally take to get your initial evaluation after TESC receives your CLEP/DSST transcripts?

My initial evaluation took 5 weeks from receipt of transcript.

Do you have to wait for your evaluation to register for a class? Or can you register once you're accepted? If I have to wait for eval. I am doomed.

Good question, I would think as long as you have been accepted as a student you should be able to register but I would call the registrars office to confirm. The only issue would be signing up for courses that duplicate what you've already taken or knowing what courses you need for your program. Discuss with the registrar for clarity and you should be good to go.

I called and they said I do not have to wait for evaluation to register for a class. Yay!:hurray: Now I just have to wait and see if they accept me. :willynilly:
