I'm about to start the first steps of my journey to get a BA of English at TESU. I already have some credits at a Canadian school, so I would like to have them evaluated and possibly transferred.
Up to now, and in 2018, what is one or some of the best international credit evaluation companies (Canadian credits especially) for a TESU degree?

I think WES is the go-to international credit eval company at this point. It's the only one that all 3 of the Big 3 will take, so it's your best bet.
