Don't wait for the Milestones to be affirmed. Keep going! They just need to be affirmed for the course to be closed at the end.

You do sort of need a battle plan when doing some of these CBE programs.
UMPI, based on feedback, seems pretty good. The worry for some might be getting all drafts submitted late Friday night, and Saturday/Sunday have 10 hrs available each day and no courses open.
Yeah you do need to plan a head a bit. If on Thursday it looks like you're going to finish a class over the weekend you can email your academic advisor and request an additional course be opened. The cut off for requests has been noon on Friday Maine time. You definitely need to figure out what you are going to get done and when so you can get a course opened so you're not sitting around with nothing to do for days.
