Transferability of real estate credits
#1
Over the years I have taken a bunch of real estate classes (Texas). Needed them for the state real estate license. I wonder if those classes could somehow transfer to a real estate related degree.

I earned an AABA at my local junior college a few years ago. I just logged into their website and did a "What If?" evaluation, and it says to get an AAS in Real Estate I am 14 classes short. However, those classes include- Law of Contracts, Principles of RE I & II, Contract Forms and Addenda, RE Appraisal, RE Finance, RE Math, and Law of Agency. Pretty sure I've completed all those plus a couple of others. I believe I went through 2 or 3 different schools. Then I got my real estate salesperson license.

Do you think any of those classes would count towards a degree? At this time I do not recall even one of the institutions I went through. Perhaps Lone Star College was one.

I'm not sure if you're asking whether they would work at TESU or for your AAS in Real Estate at the local JC. If I were in your shoes, I'd figure out where I took them, and send the transcript(s) to your current schools. That way you'll know for sure. Also, you'd be able to do what ifs at TESU to see if there's a degree they would help with.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)

I don't think they would do me any good at TESU. It's possible it might transfer over to the JC. I suppose I'm just wondering if there are programs that are known for accepting this kind of stuff.

Yeah, if I can dig anything up I will shoot it over to the JuCo and see what they say. Heck, if it's only a few bucks I don't guess it'd hurt to see what TESU says.
