So if i previously graduated from a community college, back in 2014 with a degree in business and i later took a class at the same college for self improvement purposes, why did they post the grade and class on my previous degree transcript if that degree is already completed? I thought it would be sort of separate from that. My dilemma is i dropped the class not knowing it would go on my previous completed transcript. Now there is a W on my transcript from 2014 from a class i took for the hell of it in 2017. Thoughts?

Your transcript from a school is never "completed." It is always a record of everything you have done at that school regardless of why or when. You can ask the school if there is any way to remove a "W", but there probably isn't. I wouldn't sweat it. It's not an "F" and nobody is going to think twice about a random "W".

1 W years later isn't going to concern anyone who needs to look at your transcript. If you started piling up a bunch of Ws, they might care. Don't sweat it.

The type of school that cares about a "W" is in a different category than what you're getting here. The schools that play ball in this league don't care about a W.
