I know that there has not been alot written about this test. I don't think I can add too much, other than this....I prepared by getting to the point where I was answering 99% of the IC flashcards correctly. I knew the cards back and forth and the concepts behind them.
The TECEP test was written format, and unfortunately one of those tests where vague questions and answers rule the day. Many times, there were two answers that were quite similar, but only one was correct. I might have passed with flying colors and I may have tanked.
I don't think that the IC flashcards could have been written any better. I reviewed the recommended textbook. The flashcards follow the book. I don't think I could have been better prepared. I just think that the TECEP methodology for this particular test was difficult. It felt like someone was deliberately messing with you at times.
If I failed this test, then I will definately take the CSU course. For those who have not come to this fork in the road, I'd strongly suggest looking into the CSU course based on other posters experiences. Timewise, I sent my $450 for the TECEP test 10/10/07, (you need to send money 4 weeks before you take it) I took it 11/19/07 and will probably not get my grade until the beginning of December.
The wording made this test difficult. I very well may have passed...but who knows. There were two very similar answers to most questions.
I take the Business Policy TECEP tomorrow. I'll let you know on that as well.
