Hey all I'm cruising along with some LL courses through Shmoop. I completed Business Communications and submitted it through ACE. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to approve the course?
Thanks!

As an update for those who may find this searching Google one day or for inquiring minds: it took 18 hours which is quite remarkable in my opinion.
1. Prep Phase: Hopeless, 15 credits, need a BA fast, never heard of TESU
2. TESU BALS: 121/120 (9 months)
3. RN Paramedic Bridge - Excelsior (9 months + CPNE wait)
4. WGU RN -> BSN
5. BSN -> MSN/FNP

I think mine were all added really fast - the same day even. Some of those were even on weekends. They were faster than any other course provider.

2 Hours? Lessons? Proctored exam?

Full Disclosure: I didn't need to review the lessons prior to testing on this subject.
Its not a proctored Exam, And the American National Government course only has 5 Units so there are a total of 6 tests to take, so less than 200 questions total. I was averaging about 12 minutes per Unit test, then I reviewed some of the items that stumped me on those tests, and took the final. Whole process took right at 2 hours including adding it to ACE.

This was my experience with the Ecommerce class. I've been in online marketing for 18 years. I got my first job at a .com in 1999. 90% of the questions are incredibly simple for anyone in the field. The other 10% are Shmoop questions - totally irrelevant and non-study-able to drive that test average down.

I'd have to say Schmoop's history courses were the most enjoyable courses I took anywhere. They were actually fun, went fairly quick and transferred quickly.

I would love to learn more about the American Government and the Business communications courses. Would you be willing to write more detailed reviews? Does the latter fulfill the oral comm requirement at TESU and does it involve any speeches? TIA.

None of Shmoop's courses fulfill the TESU oral comm requirement.
