Need Advice about what to do next/course alternatives
#1
I have three classes left until I graduate with a BSBA in General Management from TESC. I need Principles of Managerial Accounting, Financial Institutions and Money Markets, and Marketing Communications. I took Managerial accounting on Friday and failed with a 56% Sad Should I re-enroll for next month and re take it? Or is there a Straighterline/Penn foster/Excelsior alternative I should try?

Also I registered for financial institutions for the may term and the last day I can take the test is this Sunday. I haven't even started studying for it. Should I withdrawal? Is there an equivalent for this class too? I'm not sure what to do! Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

Chin up; many of us have failed an exam, or two.

I am assuming from your question regarding alternate options you are not locked into taking these courses, or a certain number of credits, as TECEPs?

I think the Accounting 101 & 102 courses would be easier and faster through Straighterline. Penn Foster also has options.

If you have already met the 12 required UL credits in the AOS, you might consider Penn Foster's Intermediate Accounting I (ACC201). The course was easily doable with a non-proctored final. If you need the Finance UL credit Penn Foster's
FIN-305 Securities and Investments transfers into TESC as either FIN321 or FIN324. Can't remember which one, you can contact Advising for the course equivalent.

Good luck!

This has almost all of the options listed. The only major thing I did not list are Penn Foster courses. Those have to be currently ACE-recommended for college credit.
