I have been brainstorming on which college to transfer my credits too. I want to get a degree which translates into several different fields and that I could find a good job in the future with. My question is which college would you recommend? Which college takes the most credits and would be the easiest and fastest route to earn a bachelors degree with?
Do both colleges charge and arm and a leg to transfer credits? Just looking for some input from those who have been in this situation.
Thank you for your time.

Both TESC and EC accept 100% transfer in of the credits needed for the degree. How many you need depends on how many you start with, and how many are upper level and lower level credits, etc. Cost of the two is roughly similiar as long as you live in New Jersey. If you don't, then out of state tuition is going to raise the cost at TESC. Customer service is another factor to consider. I heard complaints against both, but TESC seems to have more. As for myself, I never had any problems with Excelsior.

I agree with Cedric. What type of degree are you pursuing? It isn't that expensive to have credits evaluated. Applications fees at both schools are about $75 I believe and that gets you your credit evaluation. I am told that Edison may have some flexibility and awards more upper division credit while Excelsior is very flexible and has good customer service.
I applied at both and decided upon Excelsior.I have been waiting 5 months for my evaluation from Edison and in that time have received my evaluation from Excelsior, been awarded an Associates degree and have almost finished my bachelors degree. That's why I say Excelsior is the way to go. I would consider it the fast track because they are so good about working with you and giving good advice. I cannot say the same about Edison. Stay on this discussion board and read the posts. They have saved me countless hours because the folks here know what they are talking about and are eager to help.

Thank you very much, I thought it cost money to transfer credits not just the application. Lets say I have enough credits to get a degree, since I have roughly 70 credits through military training, 30 through cleps and dantes and 20 through regular college work. With that said, how much would it cost roughly for them to accept my credits and hand me a degree.

There is an application fee, and enrollment fee, graduation fee, and possibly other fees, but none are associated with cost per credit to transfer. Unless you do not plan to enroll and only want to accumulate credits from multiple sources into one source which is their credit bank. However, in this case, you're looking to wrap up your credits and get a degree.
