In the past I worked for security companies here in the U.S one of my colleagues had a criminal justice degree from Penn Foster which was viewed as substandard meanwhile I had a certificate from The Security Institute of Ireland and our education was viewed as similar, we worked together for three different companies and she experienced similar responses at each. It coloured my view of PennFoster to the point that I'm wary of even ACE credit from there. (well done those who've attained credit that way) A search for Clovis College on these forums along with most NM colleges should allow you to gain credits in online classes fairly cheaply, e.g N.M residents can gain credit for around $45 per credit hour. There are plenty of options without going to Penn Foster. Don't forget that as a military spouse there is free test prep available through petersons that you can downloaded for free which can be helpful. University of Maryland also has programs for the Military as does Trident which you may be able to avail of as a spouse. As far as I can remember there was an advisor available at the USAF base near London/Sussex that administered CLEP exams in the past who may be able to give you some pointers.
Don't forget that gaining college credit by taking exams is one of the reason's we're here. That's mainly possible through the flashcards made available by the owner of this forum : InstantCert Plus of course your hard work in learning and reviewing

While many companies don't know the difference between RA and NA, they probably do know that Penn Foster is a for-profit, vocational school. Unlike most DETC schools, Penn Foster advertises everywhere giving the impression that it's like University of Phoenix, Capella, or those local vocational schools that advertise during Maury (not a good thing). While the federal government pretends not to care about RA vs. NA (I'm sure they care a little about prestige though), some state and local governments do not recognize NA degrees. TCLEOSE (the law enforcement licensing agency in Texas) will not accept credits toward licensing from NA schools.
The OP should also look into Central Texas College. They offer many courses online and have some campuses at military bases. Several of their courses are self-paced within 8/12/16 week terms. They specialize in working with the military and their spouses. They also have a very liberal CBE policy (AP, CLEP, DSST, and ECE) if you're interested in an associates degree along the way. They'll even consider ACE-approved credits.

With the cancelling of TA, your base's education office should have a lot more time on their hands. They can use that time to show you the more traditional options available. I'm sure there are the usual suspects over there (UMUC, Oklahoma, etc). UMUC is very generous with non-traditional credit and are a respected school, so maybe they are an option. CLEP is not for everyone, but which ones did you take? Some are very difficult, even for the seasoned CLEPer.
Like others have said, I would not recommend a Nationally Accredited (DETC) degree. There are many military friendly choices out there. Let me know if I can assist.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Thank you all for your help in this.
For the ASBA from TESC, I don't really have much just yet. I failed the Clep for Principles of Management.  and I have been trying to study for the American Literature Clep.
What I have so far is 6 credits, that will be for my Free Electives, from taking FEMA courses. I need 54 more credits. I did take a look at the Straighterline website, and it looks like I can use them as well. Which looks pretty good, they have a Principles of Management course, I can take instead of waiting 6 months. So far the courses that I think I will be doing to get my Degree, from TESC:

While my degree plan is mostly focused on testing, I did list some Straighterline options.

Straighterline has some new courses that haven't been given equivalencies yet by TESC, so you'd want to get the courses pre-approved before you take them. Straighterline offers online, self-paced, ACE-approved courses accepted by the Big 3 and other partner colleges. Non-partner schools that are open to accepting ACE-approved credit might also accept Straighterline courses.

DId you us Instant Certs flashcards for Management? I used cliff's notes principles of managment. I passed with a 70 using the cliff's notes. It's available online for free. It covers the bread and butter of it, if you want to give it another crack in 6 months.
For humanites, don't take the American Literature CLEP. Take the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP. It has a very high pass rate and might be a good one to take to boost your confidence. It's basically a reading comprehension exam. Just study some literary terms. Your base testing center will have the exam guide which will show you what to study. Also see the below links for military pass rates and try and take a few of the easier ones, once you begin passing these exams, you'll get hooked. Also check out the IC flash cards, if you are a member, check out the specific exam feedback forum, and finally there is www.free-clep-prep.com, which has some practice exams that are pretty spot on to the real deal.

I would reconsider some of the exams you have suggested. You have selected some of the more difficult. For example, the intro to computers DSST (which free-clep-prep has a great exam to study with) counts as Natural Science and is fairly easy, also the Environment and Humanity DSST counts as a Natural Science. Consider using ALEKS for your mathematics requirement. Reconsider principles of macro-economics unless it's required because it is one of the more difficult exams. take A&I literature instead of Amer Lit. Can you take DSST principles of supervison? that one is fairly easy. The accounting cleps are pretty difficult from what I hear, so maybe SL would be better?
